With all the tires on the market and 100's of options i thought it would be good to post pics if possible, of the tires you prefer, or if you havnt bought them yet, what you plan to buy, I was also told today at the track dunlop has just came out with whats suppose to be the Cats *** for a tire, havnt seen it yet,

http://www.dunlopatv.com/quadmax_sport.html

Here is the link for the new Dunlop Tires, notice what there saying about there new sport maxx tire?

Rear tire has a feature not seen on any other ATV sport radial: an asymmetric tread design with optimized block-pattern density for maximum side and forward traction

So lets see them.. I still have the stock tires but am looking at ITP's, Maxxis, and kendas?

Im running 18" Razr MX's on the rear and 20" Kenda Klaw MXs on the front. This is my first time running a 18/20 setup but I am loving it so far.

razrs 21" fronts and 20" rears. A really good overall tire with a longer tread life than my holeshots.

Well, you didn't mention what type of riding. Cross Country,MX ,TT, Flat Track, etc. Many tires avalible. If your just a weekend cruiser, then just slap some stockers on there. No need to spend more money when its not gonna be used. Granted, alot of aftermarket tires are cheaper than stockers(IMO).

Before I sold my DVX. 21" GBC X-Rex on the front, 20" GBC Afterburn on the rear. These are the best tires I have run for XC racing and will by my next tires.

Are those rears uni-directional? Looks good for a wet condition, but I see alot of tire spinning and no hook-up when dry out.

Yea they are uni- directional. Yes they look like they belong on a utility  ! But they actually hook up really well in the dry stuff. I was running Razr II's before these and I can honestly say that I like the afterburns better in basically every situation. Plus they hook awesome in slick situations. Its funny how many people gave me crap for how the afterburns look:D.

Any other tires worth looking at before i pull the trigger, just want to make sure, i think im going to order fronts first, there the worst, was planning on going with maxxis razor for front and more than likely the rear as well, Also i noticed the razor is a 4 ply and razor 2 is 6 ply, for the price difference is the 6 ply worth the extra money and weight? any others worth looking at?

Im really liken the kenda's as well, just cant seem to point the finger, just want a good solid tire thats going to crab, last awhile, and not cost me a ton!

It seems as if something is not right, i just went out to get rear tire size and they are dunlops 20X10-9; that size is not listed on any other brands like ITP, maxxis, kenda's any thoughts, should i go to another size? could i do a 20X11.00-9, how big a differnece would that make, i really dont want to buy new wheels?

yea there are only 3 tires that are actually 20-10-9 so just buy 20-11-9 their just 1 inch taller (I believe) either way they will work with no problems. Thats what I run

20-11-9 works like this

20 it's the tall size -
11 its the wide
9 its the rim size
so the important size to look out its the last number
you can use the 20-11-9 tires i believe its better
factory are 20-10-9

Just got a great deal on the GBC X-rex which were highly talked about and liked by several racing teams i spoke with, and they did just win and last for the baja 1000.. talk to jim at http://www.wkcpowersports.com/, he was awesome to work with, gave me the best price i could find from anyone, and i encourage anyone to give him a chance and see, he will beat just about anyone, his website is under construction, his wife is redoing it, but somethings are on there, but feel free to call him, he also made sure they shipped today which was a step above!

I do alot of trail riding and gravel pit riding! I have ITP holeshot HD tires and i love them! So if thats the type of riding u are doing i would recommend those. They basically have worked very good for me in any condition that iv rode in! Below is a pic of my 2004 lt-z 400!
