450R - 400EX thumb throttle - will it work?

Hey there everyone,

I just bought an 04 with a twist throttle. I ride thumb. I have a 400EX thumb throttle just laying around, will that one work? Stock carb. If I remember correctly, you could use the 400ex thumb on the 250R. And i would assume a 450R Pro Motion thumb cable would work just fine on that 400EX throttle, right?

yes you can use the 400ex throttle assembly on the 450r

you can also drop in a trx 90 lever in that 400ex throttle to get some extra leverage, it makes it even easier to push on those long trips.:)

I would assume I can just order a Motion Pro stock cable and that'll do the trick too?
