if you have......any info would help. i imagine the front cover ,pressure plate, bearing ,cable, and so on . i was going to eliminate the parking brake and use the clutch in its place on the left perch. doesnt look to be more than 200 or so to do it. no flamers...just info THANKS:D

just bought the cover assembly with arm and whole clutch pack on e-bay for $75 shipped, all i need now is the cable and bracket. total cost - less than $90 for the swap, and i can still sell-off the stock cover and clutch pack to regain some money spent. NOT TOO SHABBY;)

let us know when you get it done and how hard it was and how it works (you just eliminating the rear hand break lever)

I have an 05 w/normal auto clutch
and an 08 with the sport clutch

if this works well I would love to convert my older model to
the sport clutch

thankx

hey 450rJam, you have quite the collection of quads! how is the sport-clutch on the 08 model anyway? isn't it like anti-stall or something? it probably isn't as good as a real clutch though.

it does the same job as a rekluse clutch does, but does it through a different means. you can slip clutch for power.....but it is very difficult to stall unless your 3 gears off where you should be.

it works pretty good, I think its harder to shift without the clutch than the '05 but if you use the clutch it shifts real smooth

its a pretty good idea, you can use it or not

the sport clutch works great at the dunes, when you start running out of power up a hill you just keep the gas pinned and feather the clutch and it keeps the rpm's up in the power range

I dont know how you could stall the thing, unless you went up a hill in high gear and let it roll backwards before you hit the top
(even then im not sure it would stall)

the wife rides the '08, its white with black/white blingstar graphics
(bought for my 450r but they sent wrong ones and wouldnt refund) DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM JOKERS RACING
they named it right.............. its a joke of a company

not a problem
im thinking of getting the 21 inch fronts and rears but i like 11 inch wide rears better that the 10s and im just curious to see what they look like

the 21" rears are 21x11x9 . the 20" rears are 20x10x9. so they are indeed 11" wide.;)
