Trying to get ahold of Laeger's to determine what rear chainslide they use on their swingarm. I also need a new brake stay bushing with the lip on the end.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

The one from Honda uses a c-clip, I want an aftermarket one where it has a lip with no c-clip.

Does anyone know where to get one of these? Are you positive on the banshee rear slider?

Is there any particular brand rear chain guide that is used?

Thanks fellas!

You want an OEM Banshee chain guide and an 88-89 OEM TRX250R brake stay bushing. That is the one without the c-clip.

Thanks Matt. Just bought a brand new TM Designworks Banshee guide and brand new OEM brake stay pin on eBay.

Good stuff and thanks for all your help guys.

Hey Dan, If you ever want to change to even better stuff call LSR for the caliper stay mount. They have a billet one that is cool. And as far as the chain guide goes call Baldwin motorsports and order one of the nice cr 250 dirtbike ones that he mods they are simply the best.

Alright...

I got the brake stay and Rear TM Designworks chain guide.

Now, what about the front chain guide? The OEM doesn't fit. :ermm:

I hate to kick a dead horse, but need some clarification again.

Thanks fellas.
Dan

EDIT: Is it because they are different years.

Laeger made 2 styles, one fits the OEM 88-89 TRX250R front slider and one that fits the 400EX front slider.

Dan I had a similar thing happen with my RPM.

Fortunately, I caught it before I ordered one. I was looking at my swinger and looking at pics of chain sliders and thought something didn't look right, the bolt holes were different? Called RPM, they weren't quite sure, so they dug through their shelves and found some of their older 250r swingers still in stock. They were then able to confirm that they did use 400ex sliders on some of their 250r swingers.

I think it's a TRX250R 88-89 chain guide I need. Check out the pics of the swingarm. Don't the 400EX's have two bolts holding the guide to the frame?

Thanks again,
Dan

Dan, that looks like the 88-89 TRX250R slider setup to me.
