i forgot to mention this is a stock motor

all it really does is give you some extra rpm's and change your power curve slightly, on a stock motor it wouldnt make enough of a difference to matter i dont think. an extra 1000 rpms on a motor that peaks before the redline wont do you one bit of good. if you want to throw $150 at your quad to get some power, do a bsr carb swap from a kfx400, that'll give you a bit of a boost :) ill walk ya through it and tell ya what ya need, and itll likely cost much less than $150

you shouldnt really have to rejet it, but it is possible, just wait until you get it all put together and run it and see how it feels before you start messing with the jetting. if you really force it togther you can get the stock airbox to work with it, but i just clamped a uni filter onto the back of the carb on my quad and dont run a box, but that not a good idea for everybody. let me know if i can help any more or you have any questions. :) that should be everything need :)

oh let me know if you decide not to use the air box because you have to do something about the crank vent and i can help with that too, you just need a little tiny crank vent filter for a car and a couple hose clamps, and make sure to grab a couple 3 inch hose clamps for the carb too, you'll need one for sure, maybe 2. if you get confused or anything you can call me, just pm me and i send you my phone number.

2006 raptor 350 carb joint, just go to the page with the intake diagrams and order the carb joint, i think its #1 on the list and has the part number i gave you before, and you may or may not want the o-ring that goes with it, if the one off your warrior is still good, it will work fine

I have a 350 wolverine and was wondering if the same thing could be done.I am pretty sure it could because it is the same motor.
My wolverine has a K&N air filter and it has an FMF megamax muffler.
If I were to upgrade the carb would it really wake it up?Would it be noticeable?
I am wondering because I was wanting to get some bigger tires for going through some mud and with the bigger tires it needs a little more power to make it run like it did with the smaller tires.
Thanks in advance.

im not sure if you can or not, havent tried to do this carb swap on one. but you shouldnt really need to, if you are going to bigger tires, just go one tooth smaller on the front gear, that will solve that problem better than all that work with the carb. just get on ebay and find a smaller front sprocket for it. i know my warrior had a 13 tooth sprocket stock, so i would imagine your quad does too. but dont quote me on it. if yours is also a 13, just order a 12 and slap that bad boy on there. thats the best thing you can do cause all the bigger tires are doing is bumping up the gear ratio, so counter it with the smaller sprocket.

I wish I could just change the sprocket but it is shaft driven so that would be impossible.
If it was possible I would change the sprocket but...
That is why I am considering something for a little more power.

yeah thats the kicker i gues lol. hm...... i dunno if the carb system will work or not, but you can always try i suppose.

I'm still paying on the quad and because I am only 14 I don't have steady income. My uncle lent me the money and isn't in a big hurry for the money so.
I will just check around and buy all those parts you listed a little at a time and when I have them all I will put it in and see how it go's.
Does it make a noticeable difference in the warriors?
My wolverine is slightly modded.Pipe and intake. It could have a cam or something that I don't know about but I don't think it does.
If you say it makes a noticeable difference on stock and lightly modded Warriors I will give it a try.If it doesn't work then I will just get rid of the stuff or save it for when I get a warrior.

my warrior is heavily modded, and it made a very noticeable difference on it. it was the last major mod i did to it last summer. it went from running side by side with my modded 400ex to beating it so yeah i would say its noticeable.

I think I will give it a try then.I don't need a ton of power but I just want to wake it up a little because if I try to run 25" mudlite AT's on ITP C-series wheels it is going to be a good bit slower than the stock 23" tires.
I know when I went from 23" on the ITP rims to 25" on stock wheels that it was slower even though the 25" tires and stock wheels were a lot lighter.
Thanks for the help.Whenever I get all of the parts and get it installed I will let you know how it goes on the wolverine. It will probably be a few months until I do it though..

I recommend the DynaTek FS box, its 175 bucks, but it does exactly what they say it does, and the overrev does make the 350 feel more like a 400, I was really surprised when I got mine because I was very scepticle, but after reading up on the DynaTek, it is hands down the best on the market. I have intake, full exhaust, jet kit and a few other things but this feels more like a bigger difference then the other mods combined, I am pissed I didnt get it sooner, good luck.

dude, the motor peaks before the stock rev limiter kicks in, so how the hell can it help? a modded motor is different that a stock motor also, i have a box on mine, but im running a stroker motor and i need the extra rpm's, on a stock bore/stroke, it will make the spark curve a little better, but the extra revs wont do you any good at all till your in 6th gear and even then, it may not help any if your motor peaks before the limiter thats on it.
