does anyone know of a way to make or buy mud caps for baja rims for xc racing

will a normal 8x8 mudcap fit on the bajas? If they do then yea, duct tape around the outside of the wheel to cover the holes would work.

oh and you could probably put some velcro on the back side of the supports. and then the rest on the front of the mud cap that you could remove them for cleaning.

design a 2 peice ring that goes on the back side of the baja ring than bolts to ring on every other whole, then on the unused wholes weld nuts into the 2 peice ring that can be screwed into from the outside, then cut desired size of mud cap and drill wholes that line up with the nuts welded onto the back ring. this way they will be secured tightly. i will post pics i made up on paint:D :D
