blown head gasket

i blew up my head gasket today ice racing and i was wondering what kind of gasket i should get. should i get oem, cometic, or an xr400 gasket?

i was also thinking about replacing my timing chain since its stretched out. should i get another stock one or a crf450 one?

what years of the xr400 gasket and the crf450 chain work on the ex?

is there anything else i should do/get while the top end is off?

ok i found the answer to my questions. but now have new ones. i decided that im going to put in the xr 400gasket and cfr450 chain in it and was wondering about a tensioner. should i replace this also? if i do should i get a ex one or a crf one?

for the tensioner, if yours is still working, use it. if not, just get another 400ex tensioner.

is there anyway to tell if its working good right now. im trying to order parts tonight so ill possibly get to race next weekend.

if you take the philips head cap off the piece, you'll see the small flat head piece in the hole. turn it so the part that pushes on the chain guide retracts. spin it so its retracted all the way in, then let go. if it snaps back out its still good.
