Most important is change the oil often. Also keep the air filter clean.

Change the oil frequently, clean the air filter, keep the valves in spec, keep everything lube, etc.

Also, invest in an service manual.....best money you will ever spend.

How do I check the vavles

Start out with getting a service manual for the quad. It gives step by step instructions on how to check your valves. Trust me, that service manual is really important.
