Ok so im looking at this 94 f350 in excellent shape with 61k on a 7.3 diesel automatic trans no rust right now comes with a minuet mount plow i belive interior is mint, they want 9500 for it at one of those auto dealers not a real ford dealership, just wondering if those frames on the 94's rust bad or how the bodys hold up in the winter with all the salt on the roads. i know its a diesel so it wil outlast the body of the truck, so if anyone has any good info on these trucks please let me know.

9,500 seems steep to me. Maybe prices are different in my area. I love those 7.3 powerstrokes though.

You could get a newer body style "SuperDuty" for $9,500 and be much happier IMO.

i wouldn't buy a plowing truck, just asking for trouble

i agree with everybody else. though its a nice truck, $9500 seems high. those older body styles typically rust right above the rear wheel wells. oh, and the 94s are just dogs. :o

IS it a 94' or 94.5, it may not even be a powerstroke, it doesnt have powerstroke badges on it. Find out if its a powerstroke or just a factory turbo diesel which is just an IDI with an ats turbo kit.

I agree with trick450r, watch out for that because like he said it doesn't have the badges. Anyways I just paid 10K for a clean F-350 Superduty, 7.3, 6-speed which is a much higher valued truck than the 94' regular cab, price seems too steep.

ya i agree with you guys also, i found an 01 f350 regular cab with the 7.3 with 72k on it for 11,000 and its the newer style and more reliable

Sorry to admit it, but that's the truth. Plus they're always running through salt. Don't get me wrong it looks like a nice truck, but for the price I would look else where. I would still personally try to stay with a 7.3 though if you're going the diesel route.

Back when gas went nuts, Diesels took a big hit. My neighbor bought a 05 Ram 2500 pre-high gas price for $28,000. Put all kinds of goodies on it. Banks six gun, upgraded turbo, air lift, arb locker, HID conversion, etc. Ended up selling it for $14,000. I about cried when he did that. I like dodges, but I'm not a huge fan, but for $14,000 someone got a steal. The guy barely drove the truck. He's the kinda guy that buys stuff, uses it for a year, and sells it dirt cheap. Money it's really an object to him...

I was thinking more if he were to stay with ford. I like the 7.3's more than the 6.0's.

yeah i totally agree id take a 7.3 any day over the 6.0. I also agree that the truck is way over priced and the 7.3 are turds without turbos. id say look around more and you could find a better deal even if it has around 100,000 its just getting broken in.
