i recently realized that my 2000 400ex rear shock was blown out (typical of the 400ex for hard riders)
i would like to send it in to gt thunder and have it rebuilt but i'm kinda strapped for $$$$$$ like most people these days. so i was thinking about just buying one from ebay off of a newer 400ex bike?? is this a good idea for only $50 bucks??? or should i fork over the $120 dollars for the rebuild??

k now for the a-arm question??? this one i think will help quite a few people also. greasing the 400ex a-arms ???? i have seen people who mod it for a grease fitting and i'm wondering how this could be done?? i am sick of taking everything off just to grease it. has anyone done this or found some simplified or easier way of doing greasing the a-arms??

if your riding hard id get it rebuilt.it will ride alot better and if you get another stocker youll probably end up blowing that one too.
