Solenoid

I replaced my solenoid because my starter would continue to "run" after my 400ex was started and running. Everything was ok for about 3-4 starts now the starter continues to run after my 400ex starts like when I had my bad solenoid.

Now to my question could my new starter be defective? What should I check? I hate electrical work so I'm hoping it's just replacing the solenoid again.

Could it be a dirty START button? Check to see if the voltage stays high at the solenoid input when this happens.
