I have never ran this setup before but I some of my buddy’s have. They seamed to really like the power, they said it was easy to control the power in the woods. But the bad thing about it, is when the cylinder is board out that fare the cylinder wall is really thin and will cause problems. One buddy his cylinder cracked and was put water in the oil, and the other buddy his cylinder skirt broke in about 3 or 4 pieces. From my experience with xc engines stock bore any where form a 12.1 to a 13 ½..1 compression piston and some head work and a cam is the way to go

Contact Moto-Xperts about their 470 kits. Alot of guys using them in GNCC with no issues.

i have a wiseco 480 kit in mine with a stage one hotcam and ported head with full sparks exaust.and it pull really good.it will smoke any stock or litly modded 450 out there.and it doesnt run hot or anything.ive ran it in top of 5th on the rev limiter for a while the other day and havent had any prob. yet.and the sleeve really isnt much thiner because when they put them in the bore the cylinder out some before puttin the new sleeve in it.
