How excactly do you check your jetting?

There are a couple ways to do it. One is to look at the insulator. White is lean, Black is rich. You are looking for a nice tan color.
The other way is to look at the electrode. It will give a white mark on it. The longer the white down the electode the leaner the mixture. You are looking for something like an 1/8 inch or so of white.
Reading the electrode is a faster way to tell since it takes some time to color the insulator.

After you do that, you can also check if your bike bogs after being warmed up cracked the throttle and if it bogs out your rich. Also while in nuetral rev the gas and if you have a black/grey smoke coming out then your alittle rich, and if you are backfiring alot and your engine seems to be running alittle hotter then usuall your running lean. Hope this helps...
