i have a 1995 yamaha warrior, i just put a brand new stator in it, and when i went to start it, it has barley any spark. like, the motor will roll over once, then it will spark once, and then the motor can roll over and over and over and it wont spark anymore, anyone know what this could be>?

Im not sure if this help but the pick up is what goes bad most the time on warriors. I havent had one in years so Im not sure if that comes with the stator.

My old warrior did that when I replaced the stator to.It would fire the first turn and the last when you let off the starter button. It was the wrong year stator.

but different years have different plugs. so it would have to be the right year. i was thinking maybe coil or CDI?

Check the wires i had a old 97 Blaster and the cords were old and it had only a little spark so i changed the cords and it worked.
