What intake manifold are you using?
I have a 44mm Lectron. The manifold I was using for my 38mm Keihin doesn't even come close to fitting. I even tried the boiling in water trick, still not even close.
Thanks.

I am looking to get info for a carb that has a bigger outside diameter than the Keihin. The 40.5 has the same outside diameter as the 38mm and 39mm.
My 38mm Kiehin fit just fine on the manifold I have right now. The 44mm Lectron does not even come close to fitting.

I just got off the phone with FTZ. Probably the worse customer service I have ever had.
I asked if they knew about a manifold that would fit a 44mm Lectron. He replied "we don't have one."
I then asked if he knew of where I could get one. He paused for about 3 seconds and said "not off the top of my head." There was silence after that for a few seconds, so I told him thanks and said good bye.
The guy sounded like I just woke him up and that it was an inconvenience to talk to me.

He was probably mad b/c you didn't buy an alky carb from them haha. They tried to sucker me into sending my motor to them for porting and head mods, but after hearing stories of them taking 5 months for a port job...I decided to leave them alone.

Call packard, he can tell you where to go for a good intake manifold...they might even sell some?

Packard said that he wasn't sure.
I am just trying to reach out to those that run a larger than 40mm carb. I am trying to find out for SURE what works.

If packard built the lectron it should be machined down close to a PWK. If it is not machined down your best bet will be the UPP boot. It is the largest that I have used and they usually run $50-$60.

I have this one and it should work on a 44 lectron.
