clutch probem

i have a question what would cause my clutch to slip after half throttle in 4-6th gear but if i keep it at th same throttle position for a bit it will engage?

your friction plates are pry worn, or maybe the springs are getting alittle weak, it happens, and the reason it will engage if you mantain rpm is because they are getting warm, and you are not putting it under anymore load, sounds like its time for new clutch plates and springs, go with barnett or farmandsandtoys.com sells a good clutch, check out bansheehq.com great info there
