I honestly couldn't believe it at first.

Hell of a pilot and hell of a group of engineers. We have come a long way.

Yeah I saw this on the news yesterday and was like Holy Sh1t!

I live about 20 minutes away from where this happend. I'm not sure how deep it was where it crashed but the depth really varies from place to place. The water was like 33 degrees or so, right on the verge of freezing.

Man, I wouldn't want to fall in not because it's cold, but because that river is disgusting. The water is like **** brown.

it was 21 degrees outside, and the water was 40 when they crashed.

Did you hear how the one guy swam from the plane to the jersey shore in the 36 degree water. They estimated it for him to get to shore was 17 mins in the water and when he hit shore he could barly move!

When I first saw the pictures yesturday I was like " No way ... that's photoshopped" .... then I read the news story lastnight . INSANE !!!!

That's one hell of a pilot to be able to bring it down , not lose the wings on impact .... get all 155 passengers out safely. The pilot even double checked the plane to make sure everyone was out. Give him Pilot/Citizen of the year award !!!

I really want to see if someone took a video on board with their camera phone or anything lol.. I've been looking everywhere to try and find a video of it landing with no such luck..
