do anybody have more than 20 engine hours on 505 SX ? Any engine problems? Connecting rod? Valves? Piston? Oil pumps? Clutch?
How often you are changing oil?

oil change every 2 hrs use, oil has clutch,engine and gear box to lubricate and cool. we use motorex 10/60 fully synthetic. maintained these engines are bullit proof.

How do you change your oil after just 2 hrs??????? thats toooo often. I think 5 or 6 hrs is ok for normal racing use.

i change my oil every 5 hours and it always looks new coming out

oil changes at 2 hrs is right, 6 hrs is way to long on an oil change if racing. if you race, change it after everyweekend. and use good oil.

If you race 2 hrs is ok. But if you just ride "normal" you could change it after 5 or 6 hrs.

60 race/practice hours. Valve clearances are still as new. Oil changed every 4-5 hours. OEM air filter cleaned every hour. No other maintenance needed yet. I don't know how you would get this kind of performance (50 hp to the wheels) and 385 lbs wet weight anywhere else with a maintenance schedule this easy.

True. Just the fact keeping your air filter clean makes a world of difference. Then, if you change oil and oil filter frequently, you have a powerful running engine for many hours...

i chang my oil and clean the air filter after every ride weather it be 10 minutes or 2 hours and i just turned 20 hours and piston was gone everything else was good love this thing keep in mind i race two a classes and beat the brakes off this thing so i think this is one of the best rides i have ever riden
