Any body no where I can get a manifold boot for a bigger carb?
I just got this Lectron carb and it's a good bit bigger in diameter than my old 38mm Keihin.
I know about the boiling in water trick. I just want one that fits right.
Thanks.

I just posted the same thing :

Seems like UPP is the way to go!

I have the Lectron 44mm.
I am not sure that the UPP is big enough. The description says that they will fit a carb up to 39mm.
Right now, the manifold I have has the same outside circumfrance as the carb. I boiled it in water and it didn't even come close to fitting.

as long as the UPP is designed for the 38mm in mind i dont see why it wouldnt work. the stock one can be made to fit a 39mm.

I don't see why it wouldn't work either. I was thinking the same thing you are saying.
I just wanted to get an answer from some one that is running this set-up.
That way I would know for sure before I shelled out $80.
Thanks.

Kirt,
you can make the upp fit, however it's very tight. I machined the outer lip of my 44mm to the same as my 38mm. The 44 I bought has a lot of meat on the outside of it. I am now making a custom aluminum intake because of my lrd frame. the angle on the upp is less than stock and will put your carb against the frame crossmember but it is workable on a stock frame. I tried one of the aluminum intakes off of ebay but it's poorly made. the angle isn't correct and makes a lot of turbulence. Good luck. Lonny

I ended up getting a Moose manifold. It works perfect.
Thanks to everyone for your replies. :)

eBay, and yes it's for the 250r. The angle and fitting is perfect, even for the K&N no airbox intake set-up.
