It's predicted to get down into the single digits for the first time this winter. What should be done to make sure the quad will be ok? I put stay bill in the tank and ran it threw, did an oil change, and got it in a closed place. Anything out of the ordinary that I should do?
Thanks

The only thing I do is take out the key and leave it in neutral lol. You should be all set.

no need for stabil really...just crank it up...turn the gas off and let it run til it goes dead...that way there is no gas in the carb....unless you are gonna store it for a really long time....like several months....but here in bama it's freezing one week and hot the next...lol...like last week it was in the 60s and this week it's in the 30s...makes no sense...lmao...so i just wait til it gets warm again before i ride which is like a week or two....unless it snows or something which it hasn't done here in a long time

take the battery out and bring it inside. mine is in an unused closet at the moment.

yep just take the battery out cause cold weather likes to drain them sometimes... well thats how mine is and make sure there is no gas in it, you dont want gas sitting in the tank, lines, or carb all winter cause it can go bad and thats just going to ruin your motor. And its best when you do ride it again do another oil change and check everything over.

Yep. We're in a deep freeze right now. It's my luck that my city is the coldest in the state. I heard today we were the coldest in the states.

LOL! Yes, it has been very warm here. It is common that we get this kind of weather for a few weeks in January. Next month we'll be back down in the 60's with rains.

I could never handle the winters up North. Too many months to be inside.

i don't stay inside.. i layer up with underwear.. and layers of clothes.. gel feet warmers, boots, facemask.. ect... and im good to go. Once you start riding, you build up heat. i stay pretty warm. I find riding in all 4 seasons is a great experience out in the woods.. especially fall. but winder is fun too.. with the snow drifts and stuff.

I could get used to the heat tho...

I had wool socks on and heavy coat and glove I'll tell you the wool sock actually kept my feet warm I could feel my feet for the first time in the winter. My face was numb earlier in the snow.
