I have been building a 400ex 250r hybrid and i finally got it running yesterday. I have a 34mm kiehin carb. It is bored to 258, fmf gold series and fmf silencer. It had a little exhaust porting dont but thats about it. I got it running and at half to full throttle it dogs out really bad. The fuel screw is 1 and a half turns out and i have a R1470N needle in it and a 150ORD main jet in it and a 55 idle jet. I had it on the fouth knoch on the neddle and it seemed the more i leaned it our the better it ran but then i got to the 1st knoch and it seemed to get worse then when it was on the 2nd but it still cut out on the second knoch. Any suggestion would be greatly appriciated. What should i start with and what varibles are there that i can narrow down.
