cf1's are used for dune riding.. ALOT weaker then the tech3's. stay with teh tech3's.

They are the best rims you can buy IMO. You won't want to go back to a regular aluminum rim after trying them. I run dual beadlock tech 3 rears on mine. They don't leak one bit.

I am 90% duner and I ride the track every now and then and I have CF1's on my bike. For XC and hard MX riding, I would definitely go with the Tech3's though.

I'm trying to decide if Hipers are for me. I race alot of ice in the winter and do alot of trail riding in the summer. Where i ride there is alot of rocks and wht not. Will the hipers stand up to rocks and stumps? do they get brittle in the cold?

Go with the Tech3's with billet centers. ;)
