I loaned my computer to my brother, his room mate got mad at him and moved out, he also changed the password on MY computer, how can I recover it?
Without costing me of course...
Its just the windows password.

You may also want to do a search or Linux based ERD commander.

Ophcrack is free according to that website. Just download the file and then double click it to see if you ISO burning software. If you dont it will say it cannot find a program. If that happens come back here and I will walk you through it more.

All and ISO is a file that is burned to a CD and then it makes that CD act like a proffesional cd. It has an auto run and some will be boot discs (put them in a computer, restart and the program opens prior to loading any OS) You need this boot disc.

go to this link and download the live cd

As you will probably need something to burn the ISO i would recomend IMGBurn. Very simple and easy

Try booting into safe mode and then check out your tmp folder.

Edit: Im not sure it works with Vista if thats what you have.
