Question number one is the one you ask yourself .... Do I really need a 3/4 ton to haul around my quad in the box of my truck? Will I be driving around more than hauling? Is it practical to pay $120 a week in gas?

But more info to help out ... what year is it? What is the mileage? Does everything work?

my .02, i used to work with a guy that had a v10 dodge ram. lifted, bigger tires, etc. used as a d.d. and to pull his race car with. he got 13 mpg pulling or not. i.m.o. i'd go with a diesel

I would stay away from the v10. What do you plan on doing with the truck?

pulling trailors durig haverst season, problly get stuck driving the truck this year while my boss bails better then getting stuck in hay mound.

Of course, pulling my friends trucks backwards, lol jm

But, in all seariousness carrying my quad in the box, I am goin to bank today to see if they would even let me get a loan and all that a minor has to do to get a loan i paid 6k cash for my last truck.

Going to indy today, because my grandpa has surgey and me and the fam are driving him down there. Might look at some trucks after his surgey goes ok, and everything is alright.

The Ford V-10 is known to blow the plugs out like the Ford 5.4.

I'd go diesel. Better pulling MPG and better resale.

Yeah, I feared that happening when I had my expedition bigtime.

4-5 COP's later I traded it.

Nice looking truck. Would a truck that long really be good for off-roading though? And watch out for gas-prices coming back. Good luck man.
