2006 Ds 650 Baja

Hello, my buddies raptor 660 is starting to give him some problems so he is thinking about selling it and getting a 06 ds650. He is a big guy about 6'4" 280. Is there anything he should be looking for when we go check this quad out. Is there any common problems with these that we should look out for? How do you guys like yours?

I love my ds650. The only complaint I have is that everyone who I know who owns one says that the rims suck, they bend. Other than that I love it.

This one is an 06' will it have reverse?

be aware that ds650's are pretty hard to sell if he wants to get rid of it later on.

well we went and picked it up today it is the Baja X edition. Its pretty impressive i like it alot, has lots of power. It has all ITP wheels and a full e-series exhaust, LOUD. It is a 06' but looks very new, we got it for $2250. sounded like a good deal to me. I will post some pics after i load them up.

Thanks thats what we were thinking too. the only thing wrong with it is the tach doesnt work for some reason. Everything else rocks!

oh yea, or just turbo it, have you seen the youtube video of the stretched yellow one ripping up the dunes. Dam its fast

the only thing i dnt get is how people make it a left side chain drive instead of right side chain drive
