Hey, has anyone ever seen these shocks. This may seem like a dumb question but there is a guy locally selling these for a good price, however, no one seems to have any info on them. The seller bought a 400ex from a guy and these shocks were thrown in as a bonus. Not sure whether or not to risk it. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are really concerned take them to a reputable atv shop and have them disassembled and inspected real good. You could also just ride easy with them on and slowly work your way up checking for problems.

Axis doesn't use a screw type adjustment do they? I thought Axis used the C-Clip style like PEP.

They look pretty similar to Elkas but de-anodised.

I sent the pictures to Axis for confirmation and got a reply stating that they are NOT Axis shocks. Must be some no name and not worth messing with. I am looking to the cheapest way to replace my front stock shocks. (junk) I guess some 450r shocks resprung would be the best bet. Any comments?
