No Idle!

I went ridin today and my kfx wouldnt idle and when i turned the dial on my fcr to idle it up it backfired bad. is there some kind of idle jet to make it idle better without affecting the actual riding, and keep it from backfiring?

which jets do you have in it now?

well, im not sure, I took it to my local shop and they jetted it and ran fine. but ive let it sit for a little less than a month now and it runs crappy.

setting for one month should not be long enough to cause any problems ,still stranger thing have happened , i think the first thing i would do is turn the pilot screw out maybe half a turn and then a little more if it needs it, how many turns out it is now ? if it takes more than 3 turns out its time to up the jet.
