I'm going to build a all oem 89' 250r and am looking for some parts.

I have been collecting 89' 250R parts for about a year and I'm about ready to start the build. This is going to be as close to new as I can make it, and only looks like a few parts can't be gotten new. So any help will be appreciated. I found most of the parts I need including the hood and am still looking for some odd ball parts that someone may have laying around. If you have any let me know what you have and I'll get back with you.

I will post up a build thread to let everybody know how things are going. But don't look for this to be completed too soon. I'm guessing about late spring, it should be completed.

front bumper
grab bar
skid pan
engine skid
headlight switch
heel guards
fender mounts
hanlde bars

I was able to get all the fender mounts from service Honda about 8 months ago.
St Johns Honda here in Portland might be able to help you as well. Their old service manager was really into the 250R and ended up ordering alot of random backstock.

I got a oem headlight switch 2 years ago, they are since discontinued? I got it with a 89 harness, cdi, all boots and regulator. I might have some fender mounts, definetly not oem new condition. I can sell the headlight switch, I have some oem handlebar top clamps and and engine skid plate(not really in perfect oem condition). By an chance does a 86 atc350x use the same handlebars? I have an oem handlebar for it, it doesn't look damaged, but paint will need some touch-up. Also did you try www.cal-atv.com, they have alot of discontinued parts.
