I search an axle for swingarm for my TRX 250 1987.

It's possible to the same with the TRX 450?

Thank for your help

David

Hi,

Another belgian TRX250r owner :).
You should still be able to order this bolt at a honda dealer or on ebay:

If you need an actual axle, you can use a honda 400ex axle, but you HAVE to use the 400ex axle hubs also. They are eaiser to find these days than 250r parts.

I know some of this is in other threads, but I don't trust all of others say.

I just bought an 87 250r. It runs okay, but not great. Right now I don't know what I have engine wise, except I have a Pro Design Cool Head, Uni air filter, stock carb, Graydon Proline exhaust and a cylinder spacer plate. I see you have a XC setup. I ride woods, trails, and hillclimb. I was wondering what you think the best setup for me is. I was looking at a 310 kit or just a fresh stock bore. I want a new carb and was looking at a ESR 36 or 38. Also, what is the spacer plate for and what piston do I have to use with it. Can I take it off and use an 87 piston if I decide to go back to or stay with a stock bore.

Please let me know what is the best setup would be for stock and a 310 and the ups and downs of both. Is my pipe good for low to mid power? Thanks:eek2:

If I was to use a 400ex axle and hubs, can I still use my 250r, anti fade rotor hub lock nut?
