buddy got his 08 z400 dynoed tuned yesterday, he has a full system ct racing, k&n, and no lid. baseline was 27.5. he got 36.5 after the mods. what have you guys got out of just a pipe & filter?

might not be the Z400 but this guy's KFX400 (same class and make from the Z400) is boosting his to a Turbo'd 130 HP, 12-14 PSI. making it a 463cc engine. yes i said it right. heres the link.

i dont remember checking mine with just a pipe and filter, i did have it checked with that and a 12.5 piston and P&P and it went 39HP an 29 tq

cataway, those are great torque, hp #s for carb, cams,p&p,filter,airbox,higher comp piston,thats what Im wanting to do

He shoulda did the 400ex intake boot too they say thats 2-3 hp. I plan on the full CT Racing exhaust to add to mine this spring. I've got the 400ex boot/K&N comming. Also plan on aftermarket CDI and DRZ kit someday. mid-high 30s is pretty solid!
