Yz250f problems? please

I know this is an atv site but there are smart people on here. I have an 03 yz250f, rebuilding entire motor. I bought an 06 crank went in great. Just the flywheel does not fit on the shaft the only thing that does not fit. Can I buy a 06 flywheel and throw that on there quick? Ive herd people doing it before but will other parts need to be done?

I'd try to see how the alignment on the crank of the flywheel and magneto are on yours compared to the 06 because they might put the woodruff pin somewhere else on the crank or w/e but also the cases on yours might be wider, so in that case (no pun intended) you would either need to use the crank from your year or go to the 06 case and trans. in hopes of the sprocket being in parallel to the rear...

i would imagine that the 06 flywheel would work.
