Big Bore Questions

ok i got a few questions about a big bore kit
i was looking for a 440 kit but cant really seem to find one. at Ross Pistons, there is one for the XR 400 but its only says up to '98. what do you guess have. Mickey Dunlap said u can run pump gas with 11:1 compression. He also said an .80 bore u can use a XR400 gasket to increase compression. How big is 80 over? what would i need to get with the piston and a race cam (proly from webcam)??? thanx for any replies... i kinda wanna know this kinda stuff

All the XR400 and trx400ex motors are mostly all the same so the ones on Ross's site will work fine.

I do suggest this to everyone thinking of the big bores to do a search and sit back and read some since there is very good info on some of the old threads.

Make sure you check out a thread "have you decked the cylinder" its one of the best.

There was also a good one in tech from mickey dunlap.
