new to the 250r scene

well heres the story i got a 400ex i was trying to sell to buy a banhsee or 250r but i totaled my girls car so i had to sell the ex to get her a new car. well i found this 250r and told my buddy about it and we went and looked at it he bought we took it to hid garage and cleaned it up checked it out i took it for a ride and told him i want this bike. so after wheeling and dealing the totaled car and a little cash i brought this thing home.. he wanted the totaled car to part out.. so it all worked out.. now for the fun part. its a 89 with houser a arms, houser swingarm, pep shock all the way around it, durablue axle, lonestar carrier, newer chain sprockets, brand new maier plastic(dont have the rear on yet). lrd exhuast, it has a +4 stroker crank but dont know who did it or what brand it is.. sucker ripps hard though.. starts up first kick. idles perfect.. this is my 1st 250r and love it.. i want to xc race this summer with it so im going to change it up a little bit. let me know what you think of it..

Looks like a good start and has quiet a few good parts on it. You probably need to narrow it up and put full fenders on it fo XC. You could probably get someone on this site to trade with you on some of this stuff. Again, Nice bike man!

will a 400ex skid plate work on this chassis with out too much alterations to it? im willing to trade my front end for a +1 set up shocks and all

mount the shocks rezzies behind the radiator,so you dont rip the hoses that are hanging way out there.

thanks for the insite but i think if i can get the right offer im selling or trading them for a xc set up
