I have found that torquing them to specs helps. Plus you can add a little blue perma tex thread locker will help as well. Don't use too much because it will be a pain to get them loose later.

Loctite and torque them down. Use enough loctite, an impact will buzz it off in seconds no matter how much loctite you use.

sorry to say but you soon might need a new axle and hubs sometime, thats if you ride a lot:(

yeh my right hub is just a tad loose... Even with the castle nut completely tight. Does this mean I will need a new axle sometime?

remember to grease the spline. my 250ex did the same thing, after we greased it, it was good to go.

yeah i ride one or two times a week. i have to tighten it every month or sometimes more. my axle is bent so that might be a cause. i use high heat high pressure grease that my father tells me to use. ( he is a certified master technician for a GM dealer been on the job for 25yrs). haven't tried loctite but i will try that next. and has anyone used the aftermarket g-force axle??

You probably know this but put the loctite on the threads of the axle, not on the splines. The grease is right for the splines.

I have the G-force axle, no problems, still looks great after 2 years of riding and racing! price is good as well!
