leatt hand down, i think the evolution is just a glorified neck roll, not worth the money IMO, just get the 400 dollar leatt you will be happy you did

correct. I bought a leatt back in may of last year (unfortunatly I had to test it) but I did however decided to chekc out the evs. The local shop got a few in and it's nothing like the leatt. Wouldn't remotely fit with my chest protector when I tried it on and the top piece is like a bio foam type deal. I wouldn't run it. The Leatt is worth every penny. You may even find the adventure brace to work well for you. I needed the club for the extra adjustability and it's well worth it.

IMO leatt needs to lower their prices.

I agree the Leatt is my choice i have had a bad spill wearing it and it did its job perfectly.

bto or motoworld had them for $350 a little bit ago I believe. There is actually little mark up on Leatt, so those are the factory prices. Anything under the $400 mark and you're getting a deal.

Aren't the leatt's imported from South Africa? If so be prepared for a possible price jump. Check out the new prices on the Alpinestars line, and no one believed me about 4 months ago when I quoted the prices from the PU rep.

exactly i know what markup is on them and you would be shocked if you knew, one of my buddies who is a pro dirt bike rider got a dealers price and it was only 40 bucks off so there is very little markup in these

Through my sponsors (when the leatts first came out) I only got a little knocked off as well. There isn't much mark up on them. haha I now look and they did drop $50 in price. MSO has them listed for $350 now, so that's a plus.

Leatt is definatly the best. I will never ride a quad or mx bike for the rest of my life without one. One of my friends got to test his and without it, he would have died for sure but instead he only broke his collarbone

My broken Leatt and x-rays are on display at Leatt haha they used it as evidence and then put it in a case at their HQ
