week spark ,stator????

well I have a viper 50 that had no spark , after checking and thinking its the stator i tryed a used one that I knew nothing about and it gave no spark then another used one I knew at one point had spark but it was pretty dirty but it gave me spark but a very week intermintet spark.do you think its still the stator and I should just buy a brand new one???

I would check the plug wire where it screws into the coil, they wear and get loose and then have poor or no spark, if it seems loose you can cut off the end of it and then screw it back in.

Check the stators with a ohm meter........... why guess at it.....I have the readings somewhere....there was a post on here with the procedure.
