shock adjustment question

I have a honda 450r with stock suspension and shocks. would I need to adjust my shocks to be softer or harder to handle better in corners? and how much?

I'd say that depends on your preference, terrain type and riding style. You can't hurt shocks by making adjustments so I'd say do a little reading on the web and go give it a try and see how the adjustments(one at a time always) feel to you. Pretty soon you'll develop a preference.

As far as the corners go, I usually like a pretty stiff shock if I'm trying to go fast around corners, the quad will not push the frontend nearly as much. When I say stiff, I mean stiff till it's really uncomfortable to go slow, but when you go fast it smoothes out and is great.
