so im 11:1 with stage 2 cam which means no decompressor. I have a new battery 5 months ago. Just checked the charging system. Im putting out about 14.5 volts at around 2k RPM. But after a day of sitting it has trouble starting and if it doesnt happen on the first 3 turns it doesnt have enough left to try again. After riding awhile its able to start fine UNTILL just yesterday. Shut it off while rippin and sat for 5 minutes to chat. Went to fire it up and it could barely turn over. Im expecting the motor to turn over a little harder due to mods but whats the deal? Is my new battery dead already? Just not holding a charge? or should i bump up to a higher AMP battery such as the hayabusa battery?

Short circuit in the wiring harness somewhere? The max spec for the current between the battery's negative terminal and the neg cable is 0.1mA.

battery power could be the problem.

I like Odyssey batteries. Smaller and twice the cold cranking amps. Dry cell (no water or acid) and can be mounted in any position (even upside down)

so as long as theres no short. Which i checked for last night.. The honda odysessy battery should make that starter wind up faster and harder?

Check your connections at the battery terminal for any corrosion. Make sure they are good and clean. I had a similar experience and that was the cause of my problem. Good luck!
