hi my name is jerry d and i am new to this website. I have an 08 kfx450r and i have a problem. My atv has a mind of its own when it comes to starting. When i use the electric start it seems like it will start up with a problem. But if it turns off with in the first minute or so of it first starting if wont kick over again. i let it sit and i try it and nothing happens. It sounds like it is trying to start but nothing happens, so i am forced to roll start. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

try charging your battery and when your done riding turn your kill switch off this worked for me when your key is off it should not drain battery but it was for me havent had an issue since turning off killswitch still have original battery

I have a yoshimura full exhaust, I think its the RS-2. I also have a PCIII and K&N filter. It runs amazing hope this helps.

everyone has been saying that dasa is the best and the numbers say the same thing

I have a tag racing poly skid plate and love it. I've had a PRM and a proarmor and they rattled like a mother. But I race mx and rarely see any big rocks so idk how the tag skid holds up in the woods. And for exhaust dasa is way to go. And just in case your going to ask about intakes the Fuel customs intake is the best in my opinion.

If the battery does not fix the problem, you might need to check your valves

someone told me it helped him when he left it in neutral and his bike would drain the battery if he left it in gear.
