Anybody flip stock tires?

Has anyone flipped around the stock fronts? They suck but I don't have the money for new front tires and I was wondering if flipping them around might help seeing most other tires are designed to be run with the leading edge of the tread pattern contacting the ground first rather than the outside.

Check craigslist or eBay, there's always good deals on fronts there.

I was just wondering the same thing the other day. Most other tires out there that have a directional tread, the tread points forward not backward.

I did it on a different ATV and they were horrible it didn't steer nearly as nice.

Were they the same tires though? It just seems like the stock 400ex fronts would have better turning bite in the other direction.

Yeah they were stock 400ex tires.

that is because they are designed to go that way just because some tires have it the opposite way doesn't mean its better for handling its all in how they are designed leave them how they are supposed to be for best results.
