what do you have now? what kind of budget?

if it is stock, the first thing i would do would be suspension, but only after it and yourself are well protected...

Suspension definitely, a steering damper is right up there with it too!

i have a pipe header 450r suspension and stock rear shock. nerfs . bumper . swinger skid, hand guards. should i get a full body skid?? i'm prolly on the cheaper side i just want to know what is almost absolutlly mandatory that u don't get yourself or your quad killed.

send your shocks off to get revalved and resprung, get a swinger and bellly pan skid.
leave power alone, you have already piped it so thats a decent gain. work on protection and suspension now.

Yea, brakes are another thing, make sure they're good. I used to have problems with my fronts fading after a while so I went to 450r brakes. Problem solved, and the pads last a whole lot longer!
