A buddy of mine about 4 years ago sold his 3 hour old 89 TRX on ebay for $12,000. The buyer flew in from Texas, rented a u-haul and took it away.

He was a collector of some sort

The first 2 R's are ones that a guy I met from New Mexico own with him and his brother, no fluids ever. I met him through eBay and he drove up to Kansas City to pick up the last one - the one with outdoor pics.

It was a near stock 89 with 88 plastics. It was clean and other than the pipe, air filter, and head gasket it was stock. Take a look at the engine cover bolts, they are new. The owner thought it was an 88 and wanted $2500 for it. I should have bought it, but the wife would have killed me. We rode it on Saturday and it was a gem! And I am still kicking myself for it, however - the buyer did buy me a 1.75L of Makers Mark. :D
