I run a DASA classic exhaust on mine. I've seen a couple Drag Bikes That look like they have a Short DASA muffler on them. Idon't think dasa makes this short version so i figured they've did it they're selves. And i think Mine could definitly be shorter.Any one with any pics or more info on this, Post em up. Thanks

Yup, you can disassemble and cut 4" off the can, but if you race in a sanctioned race, there will be no way to beat the db check.

the DASA makes enough power in the classic version, no need to chop it. Mine used to be shorter, but I bought a new shell and core.

I wasn't worried about the power. Plenty there. And i love the sound. I just get annoyed when i sit the fourwheeler back on the grab bar and the End cap is touching the ground (on Gravel) and i think the short ones look alot better. But i also like the way the TC shorty pipes look to. :macho But im not talking bout any thing that short. Just lookin to take off a couple inches. You got any pics of your old Pipe?

How much louder will it make it? if i take about 2.5 or 3 inches off. Enough to even tell?

Well i just cut 2 inches off and just got it back together. I gotta go put it on and see if it made a difference. I'll post up some pics. not that you can really tell that much 2 inches.

The bike above, the can was shortened for a reason, and does not work on all bikes. IMO leave the can alone unless you know what you are looking for.

C&D racing sells them. I dont think they are recommend for anything other than dragging, dunes and show bikes. They arent make to take an abuse i think. If they do withstand harsh conditions, the plastics will probaly scratch making it hard to see through it.
