I purchased a small 40x48 from nothern tool.. Got everything together, widened the bed with 3/4 inch plywood.. Everything is overkill for strength..
That said, the last thing I am concerned about is the tires. They are very small 8 inchers with 55 mph speed rating.
Anyone modified these trailers with larger tires? If so, what did you go with brand and size? I think I have 1 inch axle.
Also, has anyone driven longer than say 2 hours with one of these? I want to be ready this spring for pottsville (about 1.5 hour drive)...
