I was just wondering if it was possible to put a yfz 450 motor in a stock 250r frame. I thought I heard it wasnt possible because it would hit the top frame rails, but I just want others opinions.

i think its a dumb idea to hack up a 250r frame for a 4 stroke...why would anyone want to?

Agreed. But yes, the new 4 stroke engines are much taller than the R, and you will run into issues with the upper frame rails.

Just wanted to put this extra motor to use. Why do people make Hybrids??? because they want to be different? To each their own
