Help me out.

Back in July, I put my pipe and filter on and jetted. At first it was way to lean, it backfired everywhere and felt like no power. I bumped one size up and it runs pretty good now. I don't feel like it has lost power anywhere and it doesn't backfire except for goin down hills in gear. It backfires a lot when going down a hill in gear. Am I still a little lean or is it just the back pressure of the pipe or something? I would think if I was lean that it would have fouled a plug by now.

Your pilot jet is lean. I had to up a main jet size about a month ago. The cold air was leaning her out a tad.
