Got a few guys around here running Teixeira and Fox. That is what I am going to run if I get another 450.

I am running the Teixeira a-arms on my practice quad. Only have a couple of rides on them, but am happy with them, they are a great quality arm. Ed Teixeira is great to deal with also, real helpful and always answers my questions. I am also running Ed's linkage on the same quad with Fox shocks all around. Am very happy with the setup. My race quad is due for a update, so i will be purchasing another set Teixeira a-arms and linkage for it as soon as funds permit.

JRD +3 LT with Custom Axis. Winter rebuild so can't give any ride info but looks like good quality.

If your talking XC I would narrow it to 4 choices.

Teixeira Tech
GT Thunder LT
Laeger
ARS-FX

I will be running the Teixeira Tech XC arms with linkage and Fox DSC shocks all the way around.

If I wasn't running that I would use GTT/HLS.

I run Teixeira arms/Fox shocks on one of my bikes and Roll Design/Custom Axis on the other. Very pleased with both setups, but I prefer the Teixeira/Fox. Much more ground clearance with the Teixeira arms so I dont get hung up in ruts or hit rocks, etc nearly as much. Also like the adjustability of the Fox and the simple castor adjustment on the Teixeira arms. Going to switch out the other bike to Teixeira/Fox soon.

I am running SMC +1 MGC arms. Have had good luck with them and Steve has stood behind them, so I am pleased.

herrmann LT/Fox on practice bike

JB Prostyle/Fox on race bike, I love the JB arms, corner and jump awesome

The herrmann handles good but i thnk the fox spec is too long or something because i cant get the bike to sit low enough, with the elkas it sat lower, it handles good but i wouldnt go with fox for them. JB is just great everywhere

If you have to meet the 50" width requirement, then yes, you would be to wide. It really just depends on if the arms are a "true" +3 arm. (I think some call there arms +3, but they are really +2.5 or so.) I have one quad that has a set of +2.5 arms on it and one with +3 arms on it. Both have 4:1 offset wheels. The quad with +2.5 arms is just under 50", while the quad with the +3 arms is just under 51". A true +2.5 arms is about the max you can go and still keep under the 50" width.

Was running Gibson/Fox, now switched to Gibson/Axis.

I liked the Fox fronts, but way too much messing with and fiddling. And I loved my bro's bike with Axis all around, so I went and did the same on my bike.
