When you r having the frame powdercoated do u normally leave the bolts in, or do they have a way to keep the powder out?

Some will use tape or rubber plugs to keep the powdercoat off of areas. Most will just use a tap to chase the coated holes to clean up the threads.

The powder coating company should plug all holes with silicone plugs. There is no need for bolts.

Yup:p

Just ask who ever is doing your parts if they plug all the holes and know what does and doesnt get coated. they should be able to tell you and if they are unsure on what doesnt get coated, point it out to them! Ive seen bearing areas fully coated !

The mini guys can fill you in on what frame mods should be done.
