Im putting new front hub bearings in for the winter. I was just wondering if anyone knows any tricks for getting the bearings in and out or do they need to be pressed.

no they come out pretty easy, i replaced mine not to long ago, i just used a hammer and a punch/chisel type tool to knock em out

done front bearing several times found out putting hub in freezer first then banging out is the easiest way, then put new bearing in freezer to get in hub, they can be just tapped in, no harsh banging to get in.use a old socket that the size of the bearing to bang out.
