So I am thinking about painting my HMF black, it is just the brushed aluminum color now. I found a can of black and clear coat engine paint at my local autoparts store and was thinking about using that. What do you guys think? How do you think it will turn out?

here is what i would do .... paint it and if you dont like it or it looks like crap, just go to NAPA and get a can of spray gasket remover. and it will take the paint off with ease .and then only a little rubbing with steel wool will make it look like new again .... im gonna include a pic of my white bros. that i powder coated red ...i do all of my own paint and powder !!!!

Powder coat is the way to go. high heat paint looks like crap once you get mud on it.
